Great product. Delivery was a little slow but that’s not the companies fault. Bag is very well made. No loose threads or excess material anywhere. I especially love the quick access magnetic opening. Still keeps my gear secure and I don’t have to unzip the pack to put anything inside. Well worth the price.

I first purchased the original Alpha Pack in X-Pac VX21, and I instantly loved it after packing it out and using it (see my other review of that model). I was so smitten with it, that I decided to purchase this Tactical Edition in the tougher X-Pac X50 material and take it on a short vacation. You can immediately tell that the material is beefier than the VX21 210 denier model, giving the Tactical Edition the edge in the wear-n-tear category, especially if you take it on plane travel like I did. The Tactical Edition proves to be just as roomy—perhaps roomier?—as the VX21 model, holding my iPhone 17 Pro Max, my sunglasses in their hard case, and my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with battery extension and DJI mic all at once, with no bulge whatsoever. If I had one change that I’d want, it would be that the awesome sling strap could be extended to about 8-12” longer when fully extended, to better accommodate my long torso. Otherwise, this is an outstanding—and great looking—sling bag for dudes! So…is the Alpha Pack Tactical Edition worth the premium? You bet it is!

At first, I thought this Alpha Pack sling might be a bit too small. But then when I loaded it out, I realized that it was just the right size. It fits my Maui Jim’s in their case, my iPhone 17 Pro Max in its case, and my Anker MagSafe battery perfectly, all without any bulge. The integrated MagSafe dock interface between the battery compartment and the phone compartment is pure genius. Plus, this sling pack has room for the rest of my everyday carry items, like my bulky keys, a tin of Altoids, and my multitool . I love the FIDLOCK buckle and the comfortable, well-made strap. The overall clamshell design makes for easy access and viewing of everything in the well-appointed, feature-laden main compartment. And X-PAC is one of my favorite materials. But I think the best feature is the fast-access, very secure, magnetic closures used on the two compartments. This is a way better implementation than using zippers! Finally, I just love the name, Ember Wolves. 😊 I look forward to more products from Ember Wolves!

This really is the best pocket replacement bag I have ever tried. I've tried a lot of them, but some were too small, some were too big, not enough organization, not east to get into, this one has it all. Material is first rate. Strap is just think enough without being too large for a small bag. Magnetic opening works great. Everything about it is just perfect. Very highly recommended.

I have been through many bags, go bags, edc type bags throughout my life and during my time in service. This is THE GREATEST bag I ever came across. I am blown away by the quality and thought that went into this bag. I love it and love their team! Let’s gooooo!!!!

Goodbye backpack. Goodbye bulking pockets. LOVE THIS BAG! The bag feels like it was custom designed for my life on the go. The size is just right to hold all of my daily carry items - pens, notebook, phone, AirPods, keys, etc. The magnetic pockets keep everything inside and easy to access when I need it. The design looks great! The black exterior goes great with whatever I'm wearing, and the bright orange interior makes it easy to locate when I need.

Perfect EDC bag! This is the perfect size to carry ratio and truly is my everyday carry! The magnetic flaps on the front and rear are invaluable for quick access to wallet, AirPods and iPhone 15 pro, so they stay out of my pockets and in the Alpha Pack. Love this pack!

The quick access mag strip and quick release straps are game changers! The quick access mag strips on either side make accessing your stuff so much more convenient than other bags out there. The quick release strap is also my top favorite feature. The bag design has definitely checked all my boxes of things I wish other bags had. I feel lost without it!

Solid Design, Superb Customer Service Well-designed by a couple of guys who care about the customer. The size of the main compartment easily accommodates large phones—and compact pistols. My Sig Sauer P365 9mm is a perfect fit. The interior dimensions hold the pistol at the right angle for drawing the pistol. No extra velcro panel and holster required to keep the pistol from flopping around inside. Also, I like the details of the Alpha Pack: quick access magnetic pockets (2), nice buckle, 2 external loop rings for attaching a key clip or carabiner. Zero need for MOLLE loops like some other bags (as a former Marine and cop, I always wonder Who is attaching What to these smaller run-and-gun bags when I see the external loops).If you're looking for high quality and excellent customer service, I highly recommend this pack!

So epic I bought two! Everything about this pack is epic. Highest quality materials, carries all my stuff and more, magnetic pouches are just a thing of beauty. I think my favorite thing about this pack is the attention to detail given to every little aspect. I bought the black and a coyote brown because I love it so much.

Attention to detail, bomb-proof The attention to detail on this pack is far beyond any I've purchased before. I happen to be in the manufacturing industry, and I am amazed that EW was able to pull off something like this. The magnetic opening from the front has been a game changer for securing and accessing items on the fly. Given the bomb-proof engineering on this pack, it might be the last one I ever buy. There is absolutely no planned obsolescence with this!

Love this thing! Just right for fitting keys, credit cards, phone and eye wear. I'm getting older, and need to start wearing glasses. My pockets were getting a little weighed down with everything I'm toting around every day. This is a handy way to store it all.

Love the new travel pouch/bag. The only change I would make is just having it a little wider on the bag. Love the charger side pocket with the magnets. Great idea on that one.

Great design. Lots of pockets, good size pockets, and amazingly well constructed. Perfect for organizing my cables, connectors, adapters and chargers. The stowable belt allowing the user to convert to a fanny pack carry is a great idea.

A very well designed small sling. The MagSafe pass-through feature is amazing and very thoughtful. The quick access pockets work great. It makes it easy for me to grab my phone or my wallet.

Just thee right size for everything I need to carry. The strap is the perfect width and thickness such that it doesn't dig into my neck or shoulder. The buckle is a really nice touch as well. I've used a fanny pack for years but this bag is much more versatile. Love it.

I actually love this bag, it's made very well and I can fit more stuff than it seems. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the center pocket which zips, can be accessed from the front pocket that does not zip. So in my mind, it is not secure enough for the airport, which I am sad about because I truly love the bag. So When I put my wallet in the middle, someone bumping into to me could access my cash. Had I known that (maybe I did not read the description thoroughly) I would not have purchased it, as it is a premium price. But it is very well made and very pretty.

Quality and detail is great. The only issue I have is that it is too small. Would like to see something longer say 11-13 inches..
